Kefalonia: Stark Death

Ok, this deviation is unusual for me. I don't have an eye for black-and-white. I don't normally find cemetaries fascinating. But this one keeps telling me to show it. It is a cemetary in conjunction with a small monastery on Kefalonia, one of the Greek islands. I like the serenity of the place. Note the small oillamps and the oil near each stone. The greek custom of lighting a lamp at the grave of the dead is so different from the way we remember, with flowers and greens.
